Prayers Needed

Meet Leah.


She is a precious soul that has a smile that will light up the world.  I have had the honor of being her counselor at camp a few times and each time she has blessed me by her bravery, loving heart, and unwillingness to allow Cerebral Palsy to get her down.  

She has had a rocky past year or so and needs some prayer due to being back in the hospital.  There are many questions about what is going on and what needs to be done next to help Leah.  Join me in praying for Leah, guidance for the doctors that are treating her, as well as comfort for her family.

Leah is a brave girl.  I believe in the power of prayer and believe that God is not done with her yet!

Three years ago a small group of people in my church were lead to start a movement.  It called for people to trade in those Easter dresses and garb to buy a t-shirt.  Not just any t-shirt, rather a t-shirt that would feed, provide clean water, and expose orphans in third world countries to Christ.  Our church was going to Forget the Frock.  Check out the blog that started it all. I'm Erin. I am saved by the blood of Christ.  He gave me more grace then I will ever deserve. God has taken me on a journey this far in my life.  He has shut doors in my face, turned my world upside down and though it all, He has taught me how to praise Him in the hallway while your waiting for that next door to open.  Sometimes the best worship and the most insight comes while you are stuck in that hallway. I taught middle school for four years.  After spending those four years encouraging my students to follow their dreams, I decided to do it for myself.  I left the classroom behind, despite having a college degree in education, and looked for a job that allowed me to use my passion and talents. God placed special needs adults and children on my heart six years ago and has now place the calling and desire in my heart to love and serve them.
